The Project

We are a journalist, a filmmaker and a documentary photographer from different backgrounds coming together to explore an issue that is both current and pressing in the twenty-first century: sustainability.

We are producing a documentary about the challenges facing the Guarani Aquifer in South America, and the people who depend on it. The Guarani Aquifer is one of the largest aquifers in the world and contains enough water to sustain the world population for 200 years. But this valuable water resource is being threatened by pollution and mismanagement.

To tell the story of the Guarani Aquifer we will be using every tool available to us: film, photo, audio, the written word and a bit of luck.

This blog is an essential part of what we are doing. We will be posting on a regular basis, updating you with all our developments, thoughts and ideas. We are democratising the creative process behind this documentary by asking for your involvement from the very beginning.

We know that if we have enough support, both creative and financial, from you, our readers, we can make this project happen.

The best was to get involved with this project is to talk to us: add a comment on the site, follow us on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook.
