Meet at Broadway & 45th and march to Union Square
To mark World Water Day, the Guarani Team will be marching from Time Square to Union Square to raise awareness of water and sanitation needs around the world, and to raise money so that we can tell one of the most important water stories of our time: the story of the Guarani Aquifer.
Did you know that 40% of the world’s population lack access to clean water and basic sanitation?
Did you know that the Guarani Aquifer is one of the largest fresh water resources in the world?
Did you know that the Guarani Aquifer could be a lifeline for all us as natural water resources dry up?
Did you know that the Guarani Aquifer is being threatened by pollution, mismanagement and corruption?
Did you know that we want to change that by telling its story?
Join us as we walk from Time Square to Union Square and help us get the word out about the Guarani Aquifer and water poverty across the globe.
Meet at Broadway & 45th at 2pm on Monday March 22. Or join us in Union Square from 4pm.
